Read my article 'Clean Facial Skin' first before selecting a good chemical-free soap and face cream to clean your facial skin. After washing, take a measure of your favorite face cream/acne skin cream and dab it lightly all over your face. Gently spread it all around and massage your face lightly. As the oils in the cream are absorbed into your skin they will enhance the natural moisture of the skin and support the curing properties of the cream.
Apply the cream according to the manufacturer's instructions at least twice a day after cleansing, morning and evening. If you can, use it at noon as well, following the same cleansing routine. Acne skin cream works best on a clean face. The tingling sensation you feel on clean skin when you apply the cream will be stronger on an open sore. You will initially feel a stinging sensation in these sores. As the sting reduces, so should the irritation of the sores.
Most of the chemical-free acne skin creams available today help clear acne sores and support your skin in strengthening and rejuvenating as well as neutralizing the contaminating toxic acids which do so much damage to your facial skin.
In the course of following a good nutritional program many people can experience uncomfortable symptoms of detoxification. This healing reaction is caused by the flushing out of toxins from the cells. As these substances are ejected from the tissues they are dumped into the system, making the body (and skin) temporarily more toxic until they are excreted.
This is what is happening to your skin during a period of light fasting as the body pushes more toxic matter out through your pores, quickly. So expect an outbreak of acne during this period, it is a good sign and usually soon over. Use your acne skin cream to reduce the inflammation.
Tree tea oil has been found to be effective for various skin disorders. It acts as an antiseptic, antifungal, and antibacterial. This oil also helps to bring oxygen to the skin cell, which kills bacteria and fungus and helps to repair damaged skin caused by acne. Add 5 to 12 drops and mix well with a 2 ounce tub of cream.
Borage oil has also been recommended in the past. It is very effective but you may prefer to use NKO (Neptune Krill Oil). NKO may be better to use than Borage Oil as it is easier for your cells to absorb compared with Borage oil. NKO does not have to be refrigerated like Borage. It can be kept in a cool place in your cabinet. However, it does cost more than Borage oil.
Take great care in using all creams and oils until you are comfortable with them: if you get any rash or skin reactions when using them, discontinue their use immediately.
